As the primary photographer in my family I have been charged with scanning, digitizing, and archiving my family's collection of what appears to be hundreds if not a thousand or more color and B+W negatives and slides. Many of these film originals were discovered in my grandparents attic back in 2020. I spent 3 months going through the negatives only scanning images that were in not completely blurry or had major exposure errors. Some images were from the mid 1940s and going through the 1980's. Nearly every format negative and transparency was in the box. I scanned over 500 images in that first round. There were photographic prints as well. I only scanned a few of those as there were negatives for most and I preferred to scan those for the most accurate conversion. Recently, this past year, more images were discovered in other family members homes. Several hundred more negatives, mostly color. Another box contained hundreds of photographs, mostly 3½x5 and 4x6.
