Aimed at the professional photojournalist market, this was one of the few 800 speed stocks available in 1999-2000. Very similar to Porta 800, with punchy colors and medium saturation. Comparable to Fuji Press 800, Fuji NHG II 800 and Fuji NPZ 800.
One of the many chromogenic B+W film stocks available in the early 2000's. It was easy to get quality B+W prints and scans and "one hour" service with C-41 processing. One of the big advantages is being able to utilize Digital Ice technology for dust removal. This film replaced Kodak T400CN, one of my favorite B+W chromogenic emulsions. Printed on RA-4 color paper yieled a beautiful slightly toned print. Ilford has an equivalent stock XP2.
